Hi All,

First of all I would like to apologize for not paying much attention to this project after making the initial contribution at Silverlight.net site. I do not work on C#/Microsoft related technologies at all in my day job and hence it is difficult for me to keep up.

Today I took some time to migrate this project over to Silverlight 2.0. I took code from Change Set 4124 and migrated all the samples to Silverlight 2.0. I did some preliminary testing and things seem to work allright.

I also got SVN and made my changes on the top of it. I uploaded a patch with my fixes.

That's great news, Venkata! Where can we download the latest version? Under the "Source Code" tab, it doesn't seem to be uploaded yet. Is the link on the homepage pointing to this latest version?

Since I have not been part of the project, I do not have acess rights to checkin the fixes. You can get the latest code from SVN and after that you can get the patch with the fixes by clicking on the patches link in the source code tab. You can apply the patch using SVN.

Hi Venkata,

Thanks for the clarification. You mentioned:

>I took code from Change Set 4124 and migrated...

On the source tab, I see the latest build as 4214. I'm guessing this is what you were referring to? Also, I'm not too familiar with SVN. Is there a client you recommend on Windows for applying the .patch file to build 4214?

Again, thanks!

The instructions are at:

http://www.codeplex.com/CodePlex/Wiki/View.aspx?title=Source%20Control%20Clients

There is a link of this from the source tab. Typically open source projects use Subversion as the source control repository. To use subversion, you can install Tortoise SVN and CodePlex SVN bride from http://www.codeplex.com/CodePlex/Wiki/View.aspx?title=Using%20TortoiseSVN%20with%20CodePlex&referringTitle=Source%20control%20clients. Tortoise SVN integrates with you windows explorer. This will allow you to create a folder and checkout the code from the server. After you checkout the code you can apply the patch using Tortoise SVN, using the context menu.

I tried applying the patch myself and was having issues with Tortoise SVN. I am not sure if you had any success. I put the latest code on my ISP account. Here is a link:

http://home.comcast.net/~venkata.guddanti/FreeSilverlightChart/FreeSilverlightChart.zip

The running sample is at

http://home.comcast.net/~venkata.guddanti/FreeSilverlightChart/index.html

Since I put the sample on my ISP, I will submit it to the silverlight community samples again.

Thanks for the original code and the patch. You are now an admin of the project and can upload your code directly. :-)

Lets hope that other people will contribute to this project and together we can make it better and better.

Topcoder.

Thanks for providing me the admin rights. I committed my code to the repository. It was very slow for some strange reason.
